The state-of-the-art Clinical Research Center (CRC) is home to groundbreaking diabetes research and will be the main Boston study site where participants will complete their DISCOVERY study visits.
Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH) is consistently ranked among the best in the nation by U.S. News and World Report and is a leading institution in pediatric care and research in the world. The BCH Endocrine Division, home to the multidisciplinary weight management program, the Optimal Wellness for Life (OWL) Program, will be one recruitment site for the study.
Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) is a world-renowned hospital and the oldest pediatric care institution in Boston. Mass General for Children provides pediatric primary and subspecialty care at sites across the greater Boston area, including many Health Centers. The MGH Pediatric Endocrine Division provides comprehensive medical care to children with diabetes in the greater Boston area, and will be another recruitment site for the study.
